This is the first attempt at a website for
Local Catch Seafood.

Local Catch Seafood is a grass-roots attempt at improving the lives of foodies, locovores and seafood lovers in Eastern WA, and to improve the lives of local fisherman, by providing alternative local markets for their products

We buy only the freshest seafood from small independent fisherman and family owned shellfish farmers in Washington State.

Seasonal fish include Halibut, Black Cod(Sable Fish), Spot Prawns, Dungeness Crab, Albacore Tuna and, of course, Salmon.

Shellfish currently sourced from second and third generation shellfish growers include Manilla Clams and Pacifica Oysters.

We aspire to promote eating fresh fish in season
. That is, eating the fish that is being caught locally at the time of the year they are actively being fished. Frozen fish is great when there isn't locally available fresh fish.

What could be better than eating the freshest, local seafood but by supporting local fisherman who live here in the State of Washington, fishing in a sustainable way in an attempt to protect our source of food and their source of livelihood.

The pictures at the top of this page are not stock photos. They are photos of the boats owned by real people who fish with them for a living. Our fish come directly from these boats to you. These fisherman treat their fish like it was their own family's meal. I want you to know where your food comes from, right down to the name of the boat.

Help me support local fisherman by supporting Local Catch Seafood, and eat the freshest local seafood around!

We are currently selling seafood at the Wenatchee and Yakima Farmer's Markets, and hope to add Ellensburg to mix this summer.  We are currently working with CSA's and Food Co-Ops in Spokane, Walla Walla, Chelan, Wenatchee and Yakima to distribute this great food source to more communities in Easter Washington.

You can email me at localcatchseafood@gmail.com, or call me at 509 393 4195. I currently have email lists for Wenatchee and Yakima communities to recieve weekly updates on what is coming to the market. Email us if you would like to get a weekly update. We are working on a Facebook page and exploring other ways of efficiently communicating with our clientele.
